Summary

• The project aimed to address the patten of COVID -19 cases in different states in India by conducting a comprehensive analysis of factors contributing to increase in COVID - 19 cases. With a focus on identifying trends and potential areas of concern, the analysis sought to provide insights into the root causes of  problem

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): State wise testing details, first vs second dose, total deaths by state, ICMR testing labs in each state, covid cases by state

• The findings revealed that the first dose is taken by more than 565M people of the country, with the Maharashtra state experiencing the highest deaths at around 23M. The analysis also highlighted a connection between total deaths by state, with testing labs in each state, testing details & first vs second dose administration

• Recommendations: Increasing COVID -19 cases in India, as the main reasns was linked to the lower number of ICMR testing labs in some states, a considerable difference between number of people taking first vs second dose . By improving number of testing labs in each state, awareness of both doses among people, rapid testing the government aimed to provide equal facilitiesin each state, reduce new covid cases
